WORCESTER - Jennie M. (Jiardino) Kirby, 75, of 10 Standish St., died Wednesday in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
Her husband, Philip C. Kirby Jr., died in 1993. She leaves two sons, Philip C. Kirby III and Richard C. Kirby; a sister, Margaret McGuirk, all of Worcester; six grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A son, Ronald S. Kirby, died in 1993. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Carmen and Mary (Copper) Jiardino. She graduated from Commerce High School in 1927.
Mrs. Kirby was a longtime member of St. Stephen's Church. She enjoyed camping.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow from Arthur S. Manzi & Son Funeral Home, 179 Shrewsbury St., with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
