ROANOK E —Opal G. Brookman, 91 of Roanoke, died Monday, Feb. 3,1997.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Brookman, several brothers, and a sister.

Surviving are a daughter, Martha B. Janney of Roanoke; two sisters, Isabelle Blankenship of Salem and Stella Andersaon of Tennessee; two brothers, Burman Grantham of Pulaski and Thomas Grantham of Texas; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 12 noon Wednesday, Feb. 5 at Lotz Roanoke Chapel with Rev. David P. Fisher officiating. Interment followed in Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elevator Fund, Highland Park United Methodist Church, 624 Ferdinand Avenue SW, Roanoke, VA 24016. Arrangements by Lotz Funeral Home, Roanoke.
