Mrs. E. Minor Foster Sr., 74, died Wednesday at her home in Grottoes. She was the widow of E. M. Foster who preceded her in death twelve years ago.

Born Sarah Emerson of Malvern, Ark„ she came to the Grottoes community 55 years ago as a bride. Mrs. Foster was a member of the Mt. Horeb Presbyterian Church, where she served as organist for 32 years, retiring 20 years ago.

Surviving are one son, E. M. Foster Jr.; two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Roller and Mrs. Jean Miller, Texarkana. Texas; two brothers, John P. Emerson, Little Rock. Ark.; and Van Emerson, Memphis, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The body will rest at the Kyger Funeral Home until three p.m. today, when it be taken to her home.

Funeral services will held Friday at eleven o'clock at the Mt. Horeb Presbyterian Church with the Rev. C. H. Phipps, assisted by the Rev. C. E. Long, in charge.
Interment will be in the Edgewood Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be C. H. Patterson. Lee A. Patterson, Edward S. Long, Claude Spitzer, Arthur Scott and Tom Wood.

Honorary pallbearers will be J. D. Cromer. W. B. Wonderley, J. E. Nickell, E. R. Shanklin, D. H. Patterson, A. C. Wilson, C. D. Wilberger, J. H. Eutsler, Roy Eutsler, H. G. Middlekauff, J. M. Bennington, and R. B. Byers.
