Carole V. Lilley, 92, of Port Vue, formerly of Cokeburg, died Saturday, June 1, 2013, in Riverside Care Center, McKeesport.

She was born January 18, 1921, in Cokeburg, a daughter of the late Michael and Eva Skavinsky Blostic.

Mrs. Lilley was a 1939 graduate of Ellsworth High School.

A homemaker, she worked for Grumman Aircraft in Beth Page, N.Y., during World War II.

She was a longtime member of St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church in Port Vue, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers and Ladies of Charity.

Mrs. Lilley served as a Democratic committeewoman and worked the polls on Election Day.

Surviving are two sons, Richard Howard Sr. (Grayce) of Elizabeth Township and Rodger W. Lilley of Port Vue; eight brothers, Michael Blostic and Stanley Blostic, both of Cokeburg, Father Leonard Blostic TOR of Holidaysburg, Charles Blostic of Ohio, William, Anthony and Richard Blostic, all of Cokeburg, and Edward Blostic of Scenery Hill; three sisters, Sister Patricia Bostic SMIC of Parsippany, N.J., Sister Eve Blostic OSF of Pittsburgh and Sister Wanda Blostic OCD of Latrobe; two grandsons, Harry Howard of Allison Park and Richard Howard Jr. of Boston; a great-grandson, Alec Howard; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to his her parents, are her husband, John W. Lilley, who died November 8, 1994; three sisters, Stella Stewart, Mary Geffert and Helen Mance; and two brothers, Tom and Joseph Blostic.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 7, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Ave Maria Roman Catholic Church, Bentleyville, with Father Leonard Blostic TOR as celebrant.
