NORTH AUGUSTA
Mrs. Catherine Grigsby Jones, 72, of 1214 Lake Ave. died Friday.
Born in Saluda County, she was a former teacher at Rollin's Elementary School and a member of the Richmond County Retired Teachers Association and St. John United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Marion B Jones; sons, M. Grigsby Jones of Lugoff and Gene Jones of North Augusta; a daughter, Mrs. Susan J. Crabtree of Chapin; brothers, Jacob L. Jr. and the Rev. James A. Grigsby, both of Saluda; and sisters, Mrs. Sue Ğ. Terry of North Augusta, Mrs. Tellulah G. Worley of Nichols, Mrs. Elma G. Miley of Brunson and Mrs. Joye G. Johnson of Saluda.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at St. John United Methodist Church, with burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. John United Methodist Church or to the Epworth Children's Home.
