Edna Mae Robinson, 92, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2007.

Born in Greenleaf, Idaho, she grew up on a dairy farm with her parents and six sisters. She migrated to California and married Clarence Ray Robinson in 1942. When they retired they settled on a farm of their own in Corning, where Edna and her husband grew their own food, including grapes, oranges, melons, cattle, and chickens. She loved camping and outdoors, and was especially fond of her trips to the desert. She also loved to sew and do crafts, making quilts, rugs, chairs and many other items. Edna worked as a cook in a lumberjack camp the 1930's, and later worked in the cafeteria at Chico High School. Her family has fond memories of her famous cinnamon rolls and homemade noodles.

Edna is survived by her son, Raymond Robinson and her daughter, Linda Barbaras. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Wyvena Buck (Idaho), and Waunetta Larson (California). Edna was preceded in death by her husband and three sisers.
