She was born September 16, 1934, in Shawnee, OK, to George & Irene Thompson. Korah was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Shawnee. Her first love was spending time with her family.
Korah is survived by 3 children, Diana Hollingshead & husband, Gary, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Gayle Carico, of Moore and Timmy Cross & wife, Lisa, of Shawnee; 14 grandchildren, Kentrina Wissman, Cassie Watkins, Kenny & Kevin Abel, Bradley & Skylar Cross, Nicki Williams, Stephen Columbus, Justin, Aaron, Kelly, Ricky, Kelvon, & Nattie Marshall and their spouses; 16 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; 1 sister, Rose Marie Fashano & husband, Michael, of California; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family members, friends and church family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Marvin Thompson; and 1 sister, Fran Leyba. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the church. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at the Temple Baptist Church, 1234 E. Highland, in Shawnee, with Pastor Mike Craig officiating. Interment to follow at Neal Cemetery, in Earlsboro, OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, Oklahoma.
