Mr. Larry Nolan Kirby Sr., 59, of Whitestown, formerly of Lebanon, died Sunday, June 2, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.

Mr. Kirby was born in Charleston, W.V., Dec. 1, 1953, the son of the now late Charles and Audrey F. (Dean) Kirby. He attended Lebanon High School. He then attended Ball State University, where he majored in social studies and minored in psychology. He later became an ordained minister.

He was first married to Deanna (Reagan) Kirby; they divorced. He was then married to Diana (Staton) Kirby and they divorced. He then married Ida (McDonald) Kirby, and they divorced as well.

A resident of Lebanon for many years, Mr. Kirby helped with his family's plumbing business. He worked for Fab Con in Westfield.

He was a devoted family man. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, playing his guitar and singing. He also enjoyed junking.

Mr. Kirby was a member of Lebanon Rock Church.

Survivors include five children, David M. (Frances) Kirby of Temple, Texas, Natasha L. (Matthew) Goodman and Nicole D. (Joe) Barber, all of Homestead, Fla., Natalie (companion, T.J. Baker) Kirby of Lebanon and Larry (companion, Ashley West) Kirby II of Whitestown; siblings, Charlie (Patty) Kirby of Fort Myers, Fla., David (Susie) Kirby, Bob (Diana) Kirby, Gary (Tonya) Kirby, all of Lebanon, Kay (Sam) Traylor of Martinsville, Linda Kirby of Cabin Creek, W.V., Wanda Kirby of Missouri and Sue (Jim) Templin of Constantine, Mich.; 14 grandchildren, Lane Kirby, Caleb Kirby, Sierra Kirby, Lexi Kirby, Hannah Barber, Haley Barber, Matthew Goodman Jr., Alyssa Goodman, Branden Goodman, Hayden Kirby, Cloey Tyree, Cole Zartman, Carrie Baker and Joey Barber Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Myers Chapel of Memories, with the Rev. Matt Skiles officiating. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County.
