The funeral was at Midway Baptist Church in Yazoo County on Tuesday with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Tony Bagley officiated.
Mr. Malone, a diesel mechanic, is survived by his wife, Rebecca K. Malone, and son Joshua Aaron Malone of Laurel; parents Darrell and Kimberly Malone of Benton, and Kendall and Melanie King of Laurel; grandparents Dan and Dot Malone of Waco, Texas, and Lester and Shrley Thompson of West Monroe, La.; brother Kade Malone of Yazoo City; and sister Misty McDade of Hot Springs, Ark.
