David was the son of William Paul Wilson and Martha Louise Murphy Wilson. Graduated from McLain High School and Tulsa University. On March 26, 1962 in Pryor, Oklahoma, David married Patricia Turner.
David had an extremely productive career in the energy industry and served on the board of many oil companies.
David is survived by his wife Patricia, two daughters, Holly and Martha, and five siblings, Dennis, Cathy, Lonnie, Debbie and Nancy. He was admired and loved by all his family members and will be greatly missed.
