FRIEDERIKE KRUEGER

At an early hour Sunday morning the Angel of Death summoned home another respected pioneer settler calling to her Reward in that Better World, Mrs. Carl A. Krueger whose life was one of unselfishness, love and gentleness.

Mrs. Krueger was born in Germany in 1844 and came to America in 1854. In 1862 she was married to Carl A. Krueger who preceded her in death some few years ago. The couple built for themselves and family a farm home about one and one half miles east of Reedsville there they resided until called to the other shore.

Eight children, four boys and four girls were born to them, three of whom have passed away. The children's names are; Ottelia (Mrs. G. Haese), Louis, Martin, Arthur, Bertha (Mrs. Roeck) Adina, William, and Louise. She also leaves 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Mrs. Krueger was a kind neighbor, affectionate wife, and loving mother, whose life's influence spread cheer to her many friends and beloved family who will sadly miss her many kind acts of kindness and love.

The funeral was held Thursday from the house and from Rockland E. Evangelical Church, interment taking place in Rockland cemetery. The funeral services were officiated by Rev. Ebert.
