Pauline, 80, of Bannister, MI passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 at McLaren Regional Medical Center, Lansing, MI.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Bannister, MI on Thursday, June 6, 2013 with Rev. Fr. Thomas Held officiating.

Pauline was the daughter of William Chesley Herrick and Eliza Lucille Disbrow. She graduated from Mason High School.

Pauline married Joseph Batora on April 24, 1954 in Lansing, MI. Pauline enjoyed country music, arguing politics, reading and crocheting. She was always very generous to people in need and was known for rooting for the underdog. Her family was most important to her and she was recently presented with her newest grandchild.

Pauline loved her husband and children to a fault; they could do no wrong. She was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Bannister, MI, and a member of the altar society.

She is survived by her husband Joseph Batora of Bannister, MI, children; Tom and Corinna Batora of Elsie, MI, Nancy and Mark Messinger of Fort Wayne, IN, Catherine Batora and Douglas Haubert of Sandown, NH, David and Robin Batora of Elsie, MI, Betty and Tom Stone of Dewitt, MI, and Robert and Christine Batora of Dewitt, MI, 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters; Ellen Morrison of Charlotte, MI, and Sharon and Maurice Garcia of San Antonio, TX.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, son Donald Lee Batora, 6 sisters, and 1 brother.
