Mr. Dorman was born in Conway, a son of the late Herbert B. and Blanche Goodyear Dorman. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Mr. Dorman was a US Retired Navy Veteran with 25 years of service and was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was preceded in death by one brother, Elwood Dorman; and two sisters, Irene Hardee and Clarice Ford. Prior to retirement, Mr. Dorman was employed by Conway Merchants in the Adrian community.
Surviving are: his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Sarvis Dorman of Conway; one brother, Charles E. Dorman of Conway; two sisters, Hilda McDowell of Daisy and Ninaree Hardee of Conway; and one brother in law, Keith Sarvis of Conway.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. John Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
