Mamie Andrews 1888-1960
CLINTON – Mamie J. Andrews died Monday morning, Feb. 22, 1960, at a Waterville hospital after a long illness. She was 72. She was born in Benton, July 26, 1888, the daughter of John and Nellie (Brown) Appleby.
She was a past noble grand of the Laurel Rebekah Lodge, Clinton.
Surviving are her husband, Clyde Andrews, and a sister, Grace, of Houlton.
Funeral services will be announced. The body is at the Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, Fairfield, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Green Lawn Rest Cemetery.
