KOREAN CONFLICT

A graveside service for Dan H. White, 81, of Collinsville, who died Dec. 10, 2010, at Lynchburg General Hospital, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Burial Park with Pastor Lawrence Harris officiating.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bassett Funeral Service.
He was born in Mayodan, N.C., on May 28, 1929, to John White and Nannie Hollyfield White. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Aurie Moore White; a sister, Bea McClary; and four brothers, Walter, Clifford, Hassell and Gilmer White.
White was an Army veteran who served during the Korean conflict.
Surviving is his daughter, Linda Cannaday of Altavista.
