Josephine "Josie" Ann Benson was born on October 22, 1958, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Richard and Bernadine (Pavlish) Borchardt. Josie was baptized as an infant, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth, at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson. She received her education in Brownton, Minnesota and was a graduate of the Brownton High School Class of 1977.
On March 12, 1982, Josie was united in marriage to Raymond Benson in Glencoe, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with 2 children, Adam and Melanie. Josie and Raymond resided in Brownton, Minnesota. They shared 31 years of marriage.
Josie was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She attended St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson.
Josie enjoyed collecting dolls, beanie babies and various other collections. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.
Josie passed away Friday, May 31, 2013, at her home in Brownton, Minnesota, at the age of 54 years.

Josie is preceded in death by her Mother, Bernadine Borchardt; Sister, Julianne Borchardt.
