Mrs. Mary Otia Burnside, 77, Clifty Convalescent Center, died 4:28 a.m. Friday at King's Daughters' Hospital.
She was a native of Boone County, Missouri. In Madison, she worked for the cotton mill and the Central Hotel. She was a member of the American Legion and Rykers Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Dallas Burnside, Madison; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma DeBruger and Mrs. Mary Frances Jones, both of Madison; one brother, Hermon Cull, Madison; two sisters: Mrs. Wukina Tilley, West Virginia; and Mrs. Marie Robinson, Madison; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, one daughter, one son, two grandsons and twin great-granddaughters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Lytle Mortuary with burial in Springdale Cemetery.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday, from 1 to 9 p.m. on Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the Lytle Mortuary.
