Helen was born Sept. 16, 1928, in Ambridge, to the late John and Anna (Strebourny) Dobrin. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Helen was a member of Wildwood Chapel, Aliquippa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her precious daughter, Julie, just a few short weeks ago. She was also preceded by four brothers, Joseph Kolarchik, Frank, Michael and John Dobrin; three sisters, Mary Johnson, Anna Ursetti and Frances Wise.

Helen is survived by her loving husband, John; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Lisa Bernard, Patterson Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Donald Phillips, Brighton Township, and her six grandchildren, Mindy Silver, Kristy and Michael Phillips, Justin Dean, John Bernard II, and Christian Bernard.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME INC. at SYLVANIA HILLS MEMORIAL PARK, Daugherty Township, where a service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., with her pastor, Rich Liptak, officiating. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service on Thursday morning.

Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
