Ruby Pearl Kelton, 82, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at her residence.

She was born at Swifton on August 12, 1927 to the late Everett and Flossie Riley.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Buffalo Chapel Baptist Church. She loved watching the news, farming, cooking, meeting people, outdoors and fishing. No one was a stranger in her home and she was always eager to help those in need.

Survivors include; a son, Ron Kelton and his wife Cheryl of Jonesboro; daughter-in-law, Kim Kelton of Caraway; two grandchildren, Kimberley Kelton Jaco and her husband Jim of Austin, Texas, and Kris Kelton of Caraway; and five great-grandchildren, Hunter, Austin, Isabella, Victoria and Eva; a sister, Verneal McKinney; a brother, Bill Riley and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by husband, Hershel Leon Kelton; one son, Donnie Kelton; one grandson, Teddy Kelton; three sisters, Vonda Anderson, Lavell Fletcher, Anna Joe Pendegraft and a brother, Paul Riley.

A celebration of her life was held in the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel at Caraway with Rev. Rick Stevens and Rev. Larry Pendegraft officiating with private burial to follow.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are John Starnes, Terry Ruiz, Don Orr, Bo Riley, Dairyl Anderson, Ray Kelton and Troy Case.
