Funeral will be at 2 P.M. Sunday at Trout Creek Baptist Church in Trout Creek Community with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery under the direction of E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville. Visitation will begin at 11 A.M. today at the funeral home.
A native of Call, he lived in the Kirbyville area all of his life and was a retired shipfitter.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Peters Holmes of Kirbyville; sons, Stephen Ray and Richard Lee Holmes of Kirbyville, and Jacob Andrew of Jasper; mother, Irene Bilbo of Buna; brothers, Thomas Taylor of Call and John William Holmes of Buna; sisters, Linda Sue Carrell of Buna, Billie Mack Hoffpauir of Pheonix, AZ and Rose Levosky of Mechanicsburg, PA; and two (2) grandchildren.
