Born April 19, 1931, in Big Spring, he was the son of the late Russell and Venette Grosh Blair.
He worked for Maugansville Elevator and Lumber Co. in the feed mill; and for Rest Haven Cemetery as a groundskeeper.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He attended Hagerstown Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Zentmyer Blair; three daughters, Debbie Moser of Greencastle, Pa., Diana Blair and Kristi Blair, both of Hagerstown; two sons, Brian Blair and Michael Blair, both of Hagerstown; two sisters, Ruth Combs of Florida and Edith Sword of Clear Spring; three brothers, Robert Blair, Harry Blair and Frederick Blair, all of Hagerstown; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Reiff; and two brothers, Richard Blair and Rollin Blair.
