KARLSBERG, Rubin L. age 92, of Dayton, passed away Thursday June 9, 2011 at his residence. He was a retired Station Manager with the US Postal Service, a graduate of Northeastern University & University of Chicago, an Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII, a member of Jewish War Veterans & Beth Abraham Synagogue. Rubin is survived by his wife, Miriam; daughters & sons-in-law, Sandra & Mark Walton of IN, Sara & Alan Shatz of Columbus; son & daughter-in-law, E. Mark & Jane Karlsberg of Cincinnati; sister, Leah Shrago of MA; 7 grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and many other relatives & friends. Funeral service 2:00 PM Friday (TODAY) June 10, 2011 at Beth Abraham Cemetery Chapel, 1817 W. Schantz Ave. with Rabbi Bernard Barsky and Cantor Andrea Raizen officiating. Interment Beth Abraham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Beth Abraham Synagogue or charity of your choice in Rubin's memory. Arrangements entrusted to Marker & Heller Funeral Home, North Main St. Chapel.
