Marilyn Ann (Pace) Fox

Indianapolis, IN - Marilyn Ann (Pace) Fox, 85, went to be with her Lord on May 5, 2018.

Marilyn was born to Merwyn and Winifred Pace on Valentine's Day 1933, her father's birthday and grew up on the family farm in Owego, NY.

She married Vernon B. Fox Jr. on July 17, 1953. She was a proud drum corps mom and made sure the corps was fed while traveling with the Apalachin Grenadiers Drum and Bugle Corps, in which all five of her children marched. Her love of music sustained her throughout her life. She regularly attended the DCI World Championships in Indianapolis, IN and loved watching her grandson compete in marching band competitions after relocating to Indianapolis. Marilyn was very active in her church, Legacy Bible Church, where she had many beloved friends. She was very proud of her ministry in reaching out to those who were ill and suffering.

She is survived by her children Anthony L. Fox (Terrie), Alan R. Fox (Barbara), Karen A. DiPalmo (Robert), Allison M. Fox, and Vernon "Butch" B. Fox III (Diana), 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and sister Mary Louise Hallet.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon B. Fox Jr., her sister Jane Newkirk, and her parents.

Graveside Services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 10:00am with Rev. G. Terry Steenburg, officiating.
