Alfred McKee died at Aurora, Nebraska on Saturday morning December 12. Born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., January 21, 1821, moved to Allentown, Pa., where he married Miss Hannah Gibons, and came to Princeton in 1851, where he remained until 1880. He then returned to Pennsylvania where he lived until about five years ago, when he went to Aurora, Neb., and lived with his son and daughter until his death. Mr. McKee was much respected by everybody, and manly qualities in all of his business transactions, as a kind husband and father and an enterprising citizen. His remains arrived here Monday morning and were placed beside those of his wife in beautiful Oakland Cemetery, the funeral services being conducted by the Rev. Mr. Smith of the Presbyterian Church. He leaves five children, three sons and two daughters to mourn his death. They are Dr. H.M. McKee, of Princeton, Charles and Sallie of Aurora, Neb., Alfred, of Chicago, and Mrs. Frank H. Stevens of Lincoln, Neb. Funeral services were held at Aurora, Neb.
