Creola Todd West, 86, of Loris, S.C., Daisy Community, died Thursday afternoon, November 9, 1995 at the Loris Community Hospital, after an illness. Mrs. West was born in Horry County, S.C. on September 11, 1909. She was the widow of Jessie Blease West; and daughter of the late Will Russell Todd and Julia Ann Gause Todd. Mrs. West was a homemaker, and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Lionel) Davis, Loris, S.C., and Mrs. Janice Ann Vanness, Troutville, Va.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will bel held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 1995 from the Macedonia Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Bill Thompson and the Rev. Gordon Taylor. Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery, directed by Hardwick Funeral Home of Loris, S.C. The family requests that those who wish may make memorials to the Macedonia Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, % Mrs. Lionel W. Davis, 1652 Colts Neck Rd., Loris, S.C. 29569.
