Melissa M. Gray Rishel, 75, of Hopwood passed away Friday, April 12, 1996, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born July 28, 1920, in Dunbar, Pa., daughter of Robert M. and Margaret Smitley Gray.
Her parents, a grandson, James L. Gray, and a sister, Marjorie Gray, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her husband, Charles H. Rishel, these children, Jerry Gray and wife, Annette, of Clarksville, Tenn., Melvin Gray and wife, Patricia, of Feeding Hill, Mass., and Robert "Danny" Gray and wife, Mary, of Connellsville, Pa., four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a brother, Melvin Gray of Albuquerque, N.M.
There will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be private. Entombment will be in Sylvan Heights Mausoleum. The family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of choice. Arrangements are under direction of CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, Pa.
