He was born on Feb. 8, 1973, in Kalispell, the son of Terry and Gayle (Lee) Franklin. Brad attended local schools and graduated from Flathead High School.
Following high school he joined his father Terry running the family Roto-Rooter business in the Flathead Valley. Brad was a skilled laborer and noted technician, helping thousands with their drain and sewer problems. Never shy of a hard day's work, Brad could always be counted on to get the job done.
He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, bow hunting — especially for that prized elk or moose and playing softball with his friends and family. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was always willing to give a helping hand with a big smile on his face.
He married his best friend Amber Franklin on July 9, 2011, and together they were raising their children.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gayle.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Amber; their children, Trevor and Kooper, from a previous marriage, Dale, Troy, Kyle, and Erin; father, Terry Franklin; brothers, Jason (Carrie), Steve (Brianne); sisters, Patti (Scott), Heidi (Bodie), all of Kalispell; brother, Rick (Keri), Cass (Ted), Ashleigh (Ryan) Kearney and Alan (Courtney) Franklin of Butte, and Marty (Corrie) of Phoenix; father and mother-in-law, Mark and Kim Guffin of Kalispell; grandma Bishop of Stevensville; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, June 3, at 11 a.m. at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
