Joseph T Mulvey, age 70, of Chestnuthill Twp., Saylorsburg formerly of Brooklyn, N.Y., passed away Tuesday, May 7, at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. Joseph was the loving husband of Carol A (Chaisson) Mulvey, they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on May 4.

He was born in New York City, N.Y. on November 19,1942. the son of the late John and Lucy (Steinhoff) Mulvey.

Joseph had worked as a tractor trailer driver for Sunnydale Farms in Brooklyn, N.Y.for 36 years until retiring. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #584 in Brooklyn. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert. He was a 3rd degree knight belonging to the Knights of Columbus Council #126 in Brooklyn.

We have been blessed with the presence of Joseph in our lives. He will be deeply missed bu his loving wife, Carol, his children, Kerrie Rosenburg and her husband Artie of Stroudsburg, Joseph Mulvey and his wife Denice of Mountaintop, Kevin Mulvey and his wife Dawn Marie of Keansburg, N.J., Tara Griffin and her husband Patrick of Smithtown, N.Y. and Eileen Pinto of Brooklyn, N.Y.. He was a loving and gentle grandfather to nine grandchildren, Stephanie and Jason Rosenburg, Joanna and Steven Mulvey, Kyle and Aiden Mulvey, Caitlin and Erin Griffin and Kayla Pinto and was lovingly known as Grandpa or Pop-Pop. Joseph is also survived by two brothers, Jack Mulvey and Michael Mulvey, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Walter and Margaret Weadock and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 11, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert.

Family and friends are welcome to offer their condolences on Friday, May 10, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 11, from 10-10:30 a.m. at the Donald N Gower Funeral Home, Route 209, Gilbert. Joseph will be interred at the Gilbert Cemetery, Gilbert
