Monroe I. Adams

Monroe I. Adams, 75, of 532 W. Broad St., Williamstown, died Wednesday evening in Harrisburg Hospital.

He was born in Williamstown, a son of the late William and Annie Ferris Adams.

He was a retired maintenance employee of Williams Valley School District.

Mr. Adams was a member of United Methodist Church and Liberty Hose Company No. 1, both of Williamstown and United Mine Workers of America.

Surviving are his wife, Rilla; a daughter, Carol, wife of Ronald Bettinger, Harrisburg; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beulah Nace, Wilmington, Del. and Lucy Zimmerman, Williamstown; four brothers, Nicholas, Newark, Del., John, Williamstown, George, Bristol and Robert, Sunrise, Fla.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from Corl-Dreisigacker Funeral Home Inc., Williamstown. The Rev. Robert Fox will officiate. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.
