Lester Knoll, 44, of 262 S. 10th died Sunday at 10:45 AM in St. Francis hospital after an extended illness. He was born September 18, 1911 in Burlington the son of John and Kathyrn (Andrews) Knoll. He never married. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Surviving are eight sisters, Mrs. Theodore Wilke, Mrs. Mildred Krabbenhoft, Mrs. Albert Hills, Mrs. Frank Thomas, Mrs. Charles Briear, Mrs. Henry Peterson all of Burlington, Mrs. John Keracher, Greensburg Pennsylvania and Mrs. Frank Smith, Oak Hill, Illinois and two brothers Ervin and Earl Knoll both of Burlington. Services will be held Wednesday at 9 AM from St. Patrick's Catholic Church the cortege will leave Giles funeral home at 8:45 AM burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
