Lily Mae (Burkhardt) Harlow lived in Chesterfield MO most of her life until moving to California with her husband, Logan, in 1997 to be closer to their daughter, son-in-law, and their children. She loved the people of Chesterfield and held them close to her heart. She wrote letters daily to her friends and family or called them frequently on the phone. Her wonderful positive outlook on life was inspiring to all she met though she suffered with debilitating arthritis and was wheelchair bound for the last several years of her life. Complaining was never a part of her life style. She loved reading the most current novels and visiting with her neighbors over cocktails in the evening. In her younger days, she enjoyed gardening, dancing, water skiing, but mostly being with family and friends. Her love was a precious gift to all who knew her. Her love and laughter will be greatly missed and we were fortunate to have shared our lives with her.

Mother of Barbara (Harlow) Mitchell.

I am grateful that Lily sent my dad a packet of family tree history, that was then passed onto me, that I have found VERY helpful. Thank you, Lily!
