Mrs. G. Andrews Dies in Syracuse

Mrs. May Woods Andrews, native of Pulaski and wife of Gregory G. Andrews, vice principal of Vocational High school, died at her home in 103 Robinean Rd., Syracuse, Friday afternoon. Funeral services were conducted from the Elmer E. Price funeral home in Syracuse Monday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Frank B. McDuffee, pastor of Plymouth Congregational church. Interment was made in Pulaski cemetery.

Surviving besides her husband, are a daughter, Miss Jane Andrews, dietitian at the Presbyterian hospital in New York city, a nephew Edwin W. Warner, and grand nephew, Warren Warner, both of Pulaski. She was the sister of the late Mrs. Helen Woods Warner, wife of Edwin R. Warner, of this village.

Mrs. Andrews was born in Pulaski and graduated from Pulaski high school in 1902, and from Vassar college in 1907.

She taught in the local school until her marriage to Mr. Andrews in Aug. 7, 1912, who was then principal here.

She was a member of the Congregational church in Pulaski until she transferred her membership to the Plymouth Congregational church in Syracuse, and was a member of the Ontario chapter, D.A.R. in Pulaski. She had resided in Syracuse for the past 35 years and was a member of the Vassar club.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrews had purchased the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jones in Park St. and planned to move here soon. Mr. Andrews expects to take up his residence here in the near future.
