Mrs. Young was a long-time resident of Glendale, OR before moving to Grants Pass, Or in 1968. She was very active in the community affairs including the Rebecca Lodge, PTA, served as a 4-H Club and Girl Scout Leader, and was a 15-year member of the Eagles Lodge Aerie 2146 of Grants Pass. She was an avid bingo player. During the past 7 years she has lived in Bremerton, WA, Albany, OR, and Fairbanks. She is survived by her children: Robert G. Young of Bremerton, WA, Ronald D. Young Fairbanks, and Paula Churchill of Roseberg, OR; Father, George Newman of Tenmile, OR; sister, Betty Baalman of Glendale; and 10 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
