Eleazer Barkyoumb was the son of Louis Barkyoumb and Veronique Olive Fortin.

Eleazer married Rosalie Mae Pariseau on Feb 11 1879 St Albans Vermont.

Death of Eleazer Barkyoumb

Eleazer Barkyoumb passed away at his home Monday, April 19, after two months illness of dropsy and heart trouble.

Mr. Barkyoumb was born October 31, 1849 at Swanton and had lived in this town the past 25 years.

He is survied by his wife, nine children, Mrs. George Stuart, Mrs. Allen Wimble, Florence, Ruth, John of this place, Will of Fairfax, Leroy of Fletcher, Mrs. William Archambault of Jeffersonville and Mrs. Walter Lafley of Enosburg Falls and ten grandchildren, also one sister of St. Albans and two brothers of Kansas.

The funeral services were held at St. Luke's Church, Fairfax, Wednesday April 21, at 1 p.m. The Rev. Father Thompson officiating, with music from Burlington.

The Bearers were the three sons and one son in law, Walter Lafley of Enosburg. Interment was in Holy Cross cemetery at St Albans.
