Charles H. Lehman RONKS, PA Charles H. Lehman, 80, of Lancaster County, who was formerly of Shrewsbury, died Friday, November 26, 2004, at the Brethren Village, Lancaster.

He was the husband of Joyce R. (Runk) Lehman, with whom he celebrated a 52nd wedding anniversary this past July 6th.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2004, at the Lampeter Church of the Brethren, 1900 Lampeter Road, Lampeter, Lancaster County. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Officiating at the service will Pastors John D. Hostetter and Earl Ziegler. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Lehman was born in Springfield Township, a son of the late A. Henry and Clara A, (Myers) Lehman.

He retired in 1987 after 30 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service, during which time he was a clerk at the Shrewsbury Post Office from 1957 to 1980, and then served as Post Master in Fawn Grove and then from 1981 until 1987 he was Post Master in Ronks. He also had owned and operated with his wife, the former Lehman's Flower Shop in Shrewsbury from 1956 until 1978.

He was a member of Lampeter Church of the Brethren and was a former member of the Black Rock Church of the Brethren, Glenville, where he had sung on the choir, taught Sunday School and was the Youth Advisor for many years. He was also a member of the National Association of Post Masters of the United States and the Shrewsbury Lions Club.

Mr. Lehman also is survived by two daughters, Diane J. Heinly of Mount Joy and Dana J. Britton of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren, Jonathan and Julie Heinly and Andrea and Lindsay Britton; three sisters, Arlene Albright of Dover, Melba Merritt of Greensboro, N.C., and Emma Roth of York; and a brother, Reynolds Lehman of New Freedom.
