Mrs. Grace Engbers, 99, of Orange City, died Tuesday, September 4, in the Orange City Municipal Hospital.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 7, in the Calvary Christian Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. John T. Ebbers officiated, Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation was from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, in the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Engbers, the former Grace Van Linden, was born Oct. 1, 1884 near Monroe. She married George Engbers Nov. 29, 1905.

They farmed in the Pella area until 1928 when they moved to Orange City. Mr. Engbers died in October of 1948.

She became a resident of the Pioneer Memorial Home in Orange City in 1968, and moved to the Heritage House Nursing home in March of 1982.

She was a member of the Calvary Christian Reformed Church and of the Harmony Workers.

Survivors include one son, Albert of Le Mars; three daughters, Mrs. Christine Nibbelink of Orange City, Mrs. James (Freda) Heynen of Hull, and Mrs. Elmer (Leona) Kooistra,of Grandville,T Mich.; 12 grandchildren,
29 great-grandchildren, and 2 greatgreat-grandchildren.
