Although no marriage record found, the 1900 census for Talking Rock, Pickens Co, GA, indicates that Decatur & Corinthia McArthur had been married for five years, but had no children. In 1910 census of Pickens Co, Corinthia J. McArthur, age 32, married, is shown as head-of-household; no children. (She is living between her widowed mother and one of her brothers). Pickens Co marriage records indicate that Corinthia J. Coffey & R. H. Williams were married on Apr 7, 1912.

According to McArthur family researchers in Pickens Co, GA, Decatur McArthur and Fannie Plaster (along with her two children) suddenly left Pickens Co sometime between 1900-1910 "and headed to Texas" ... no further explanation or information.
