Kalamazoo - Michael Walter FARRELL, 40, Galesburg, died suddenly Friday evening, April 16, 1999. Michael was born June 16, 1958, in Grand Rapids, the son of Patrick and Kay SMITH FARRELL. He was a Kalamazoo area resident for the past 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and antique tractor pulling. Michael and his family owned and operated Kalamazoo Metal Recyclers Inc., where he worked as yard foreman. He married Bridgit M. QUILLAN on April 6, 1990. He is survived by his wife, Bridgit M. FARRELL; his children, Michael II and Patrick FARRELL, Kenneth, Daniel and Amanda BROWN; his parents, Patrick and Kay FARRELL of Otsego; his sisters and brothers, Linda and Bruce LAMPHEAR of Grandville, Patrick and Angela FARRELL of Kalamazoo, William and Lori FARRELL of Galesburg, Lisa and Todd GOOSEN of Middleville; nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Parnell. Intement will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
