Carol is the daughter of Carl Mikkelsen and Cevala C. Jones Mikkelsen. She married Larry David Barton in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She had four children and four step-children.
Carol loved crafts, embroidery, crocheting, homemaking, and being with family and friends. She was proud to have served in the Corpus Christi, TX Mission.
At the time of her death, she was survived by four children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and three siblings, as well as many nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Karen, and step-sons Jimmy and Mike.
