Betty met her husband, Robert, at the GM Tech Center where they both worked. In 1953, they married and bought their house in Royal Oak. This home is where they raised their family, children Chuck, Mike, Janice & Bonnie. They loved this house and neighborhood where Betty continued to live.
Betty was a very giving person and always had extra places set for their Sunday dinner. She loved to play cards with family and friends. She especially loved her four grandsons (Alex, Zack, Wade and Drake) and they meant everything to her.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 2, 2013, from 2-9 PM at A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy (between Maple and Big Beaver Roads), 248-362-2500.
Visitation also will be on Monday, June 3 from 11:00 AM until time of the service at 12 Noon at funeral home.
