Rites Here Today
Funeral for A. C. Boone Sr., 69, retired barber, was to be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Elliott's Chapel of Memories. The Rev. L. D. Regeon, pastor of the North Grape Baptist Church of which Mr. Boone was a member, was to officiate. Burial was to be in Elmvood Memorial Park. Mr. Boone died at 2:32 a.m. Sunday at St. Ann Hospital. He had entered the hospital Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Boone was born June 23, 1887, in Louisiana. He moved to Abilene from Arcadia, La., in 1922 he lived at 3820 Grape St.
Survivors are his wife; one son, A. C. Boone Jr., 1133 Burger St.; a step-daughter, Wanda Hamilton of Abilene, and a step-son, Bill Barrett of Dallas.
