Arlene Ann (Miller) Davidson, 75, of Punxsutawney, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Allegheny General Hospital.
She was born June 15, 1937, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late James and Ruth (Lauer) Miller.
She was a graduate of SS.C.D. School.
Arlene worked as an emergency room clerk in Toledo for 20 years.
She later worked as an apartment manager in Toledo.
Her enjoyments were flower gardening, crocheting and painting.
She really enjoyed the many friendships and activities at Grace Place Apartments.
She also previously enjoyed bowling. Known by "EJ" on her bowling shirt, she carried an average 170 score.
She is survived by four children, Christopher Lento and wife Donna of Punxsutawney, Kenneth Lento and wife Debbie of Allen, Texas, Michael Lento and wife Diann of Fremont, Ohio, and Dawn "Tinker" (Lento) Grimm of Pittsburgh; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Elaine "Tyke" Bianco of Punxsutawney; three brothers, Jim Miller and wife Jan of Tulsa, Okla., Jerry Miller and wife Wendy of Brookville, and Kevin Miller of Punxsutawney; and a sister-in-law, Fran Miller of New York.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Miller.
Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Saints Cosmas and Damian Church, officiated by Monsignor Riccardo.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
