Date of Birth: Monday, July 4th, 1921

Date of Death: Tuesday, November 23rd, 2004

Obituary:

This is a beautiful testament to this woman's life and influence on her family.

Jeanne Nathelle Webb, 83, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at Life Care Center of Lewiston.

Jeanne was born July 4, 1921, in Craigmont to Jesse and Glen Sullivan. After graduating from Craigmont High School, she attended college at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Wash.

She married Claude E. Webb April 20,1941. She worked with her husband on their family farm in Reubens-Culdesac where she cooked harvest meals and drove truck when needed. She was active in the Culdesac Garden Club and PTA.

Jeanne was a caring and giving mother to her two children and two grandchildren.

After retirement, Claude and Jeanne enjoyed travel and spent winters in Hawaii for many years. Jeanne was a tireless caregiver for many of her aging family members.

Jeanne was best known as a generous hostess; she loved entertaining, flower arranging and making her surroundings beautiful.

If you have ever been treated like royalty then you know what it was like to be a guest in Jeanne's home. Even if you arrived unexpectedly you would be greeted with a warm welcome, cheerful smile and within minutes a beautiful table of hors d'oeuvres.

If you have ever smelled a rose garden after the rain then you know how sweet and tender the relationship was between Claude and Jeanne. They were truly soul mates and a beautiful testimony to eternal love. Jeanne lost the love of her life May 15 of this year and looked so forward to their heavenly reunion.

If you have ever seen a sunset where the sky is lit with a glow of soft pink with warm orange edges then you know what it was like to be loved by Jeanne. Her unconditional love without judgment will be deeply missed by family and friends. Her endearing words of affection and gentle smile made everything better; her quiet manner and petite stature hid a huge heart that shouted love.

Jeanne used her special gifts to fill the lives of everyone she touched with beauty and graciousness.

She is survived by her son, Randy Webb of Spokane; daughter and son-in-law Robin and Bruce Meacham of Lewiston; grandson and wife, Cody and Theresa Meacham of Genesee; granddaughter and husband, Heather and Jason Fehrenbach of Salt Lake City; and great-grandchildren Blythe Meacham and Cannon and Cashel Fehrenbach.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and a brother, Van Sullivan.

The graveside service will be held for close friends and family at 2 p.m. Monday at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens in Lewiston.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mountain View Funeral Home in Lewiston.
