Ila Mae Moore Crawford
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Blue Mountain Cemetery at Woody, California for Ila Mae Crawford. She died August 8 in Mt. Mesa, CA after a lingering illness. Ila's parents, George Henry Moore and Laura Frazier Moore were pioneers of the Woody area and Ila was born and raised in Woody. Ila went to the Woody Grade School and to Bakersfield Union High School. She married first Gilbert A Snyder and to that union was born one child, G Irving Snyder. Next she married the late Sam Crawford and to that union three children came into the world. All four of those children survive her. They are: Irving Snyder and his wife Billie of Woody, Joan Kambrick and her husband, Richard of Lake Isabella, Sam Crawford III and his wife, Bonnie of Bakersfield. She had 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
