James E. Moore, 92, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 29, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Memphis. He was born October 11, 1920 to John and Rose Moore in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Gene Moore; one son Lynn Moore and his wife Kay Moore; one granddaughter Rachel Barber and her husband Travis Barber; one great grandson Jacob Barber; one great granddaughter Megan Barber; and one grandson Drew Moore.
James served in World War II in the First Marine Division where he was wounded and received a Purple Heart.
Interment at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.
