Mr. Rouse of Wilmington, North Carolina and formerly of Greensboro, North Carolina was born in Magnolia, North Carolina, the son of the late Norwood and Ada Scott Rouse. He graduated from the North Carolina School for the Deaf in Morganton, N.C. Mr. Rouse was an avid sports fan. He also loved to read and travel, and was a member of the Good Sam Club. He retired from the Greensboro News and Record after 35 years of service. Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years, Inez Rouse; a brother, Elmore Rouse and wife Edith. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Hubert, Jack, and Lee; and two sisters, Catherine and Eleanor. Mr. Rouse died at age 94 in Davis Health Care.
