Marilyn A. Wade, 77, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center of congestive heart failure.

She was born July 26, 1935 in Breda, the daughter of Martin H. and Anna B. Kies Bruns. She married Robert Wade June 9, 1957 in Breda. He preceded her in death August 29, 2008.

Mrs. Wade is survived by two sons, Michael R. (Kari) Wade of Miles City, Montana, and David (Amy) Wade of Waterloo; four daughters, Janet (Wilfred) Miller of Madison, Wisconsin, Connie (LaVern) Moyer of Waterloo, Diane (Scott) Schafer of Des Moines, and Teresa (Eusebio) Diaz of Independence, Missouri; 16 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, Raymond Bruns.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
