TYLERTOWN—David Keith Alford, 23, of Tylertown, died Jan. 13, 1995, at Walthall General Hospital of injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Visitation is 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. today at Capps Funeral Home of Tylertown. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Tylertown Baptist Church, with Dr. David Sellers and the Rev. O.J. Seale officiating. Burial will be in Tylertown Cemetery.

Mr. Alford was born Dec. 30, 1971, in Baton Rouge, La. He was the son of Mary Nell Simmons Alford of Tylertown and the late William Kyzar Alford Sr.

He was a senior at the University of Southern Mississippi and was a member of Tylertown Baptist Church. He was an avid deer hunter and sports fan. He was trainer for the football team at Southwest Mississippi Community College from 1990-92.

He is survived by his mother; his grandmother, Clara T. Simmons of Magnolia; one brother and sister-in-law, Kyzar and Susan Alford of Brandon; one sister, Kim Alford of Baton Rouge; two nieces, Kasey and Kelli Alford of Brandon; aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Al-ford of Jayess, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Hill of Baton Rouge, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Thornhill of Baton Rouge, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Knippers of Tylertown and Norma Delaune of Baton Rouge; cousins, Cletus, Diane, Brad and Christy Alford, all of Tylertown; Gary and Denise Thornhill, Byron and Liz Hill, Craig and Paula Hill and Gina Hedrick, all of Baton Rouge, Jamie and Tanya Alford of Pascagoula, and Amy and John Gould of Dallas.

Pallbearers will be Eric Morrow, Dewayne Harvey, Jeremy Holmes, Jamie Hobgood, Donnie McCallum, Justin Boyd and Kirk Stinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby McGinnis, Dewight Smith, Rex Pigott, Larry Kinslow and Horace Holmes.
