Edith Marie Lilly 94 of Charleston, WV died June 2, 2007 in Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was born April 2, 1913 to the late Carl and Lulu Belle Holmes. Her husband Joseph Roma Lilly, son Stanley Lilly and grandson Anthony Cox also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker, member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, she loved cooking, sewing and quilting. She is survived by her daughter and son in-law Louise and Sherwood Cox of Charleston; sister Charlotte Nelson of Redford, Mich.; and her granddaughter Christin Cox. Funeral services will be conducted Monday June 4, 2007 1:00pm at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Albert officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills, Sissonsville. Friends may call from 5-7pm Sunday at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a warm thank you to the staff and friends at the Sweetbrier.
