Brooke Aubrey Anderson, of Sammamish, died on Thursday, May 9, 2013. She was 18 years of age.

Brooke was born on April 21, 1995 in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of Darren and Debra Anderson. She lived most of her life in Sammamish, Washington, and had been residing in Renton, Washington at the time of her death. She attended Discovery Elementary, Beaver Lake Middle School, and Skyline High School. She had been attending Bellevue College as a Running Start student during her senior year. She was an employee at Five Guys Burgers in Issaquah and had worked there since it opened in 2011.

Brooke was passionate about music and loved attending as many concerts as possible. She was spiritual in an earthy way and loved camping and being outdoors, surrounded by nature. She loved animals, especially cats, and was looking forward to getting a snake this summer. She enjoyed shopping and buying new clothes, and she loved good food. Brooke was deeply compassionate and caring of others. She was bright and had a wonderful sense of humor. She truly was a beautiful person inside and out.

Survivors include her parents, Darren Anderson of Sammamish and Debra Anderson of Renton; her brother, Damon Anderson, of Sammamish; grandparents Ray and Brooksie McEvers and Bill and Marlene Anderson; and her two aunts, Krista Holland and Kim Bryant.
